This is the newest member of our family: our great-nephew, Ben. He was born last January so he will soon be celebrating his first birthday. Doesn’t he have a gorgeous smile?
This photo was taken by my husband last September. I am looking forward to meeting him for the first time on Thanksgiving. I can still remember when Ben’s Daddy was this age which makes me feel a little sad AND happy at the same time. But mostly happy.

He’s just adorable! I know what you mean about the sad/happy thing. I don’t know why the passage of time is so heartbreaking, but it is. Thank goodness for photographs, and the way we can relive our memories when looking at them.

What an adorable little honey! My grandson celebrated his first Thanksgiving at the same age. Be sure to get a picture of him savoring the mashed taters ‘n gravy, which they’re sure to have in Texas!

And I totally understand your decision to move to wordpress. Blogger is terrible at the moment with photo uploading and hosting. I don’t know what they’ve done to it, or why they felt the need to change it, but it just isn’t the same. But love the new site!
