A Tale Of Two Benches

Bench outside Skull Valley General Store

This bench outside the Skull Valley General Store looks like a nice place to sit with a friend and have a long conversation (and maybe even share a turkey sandwich!)

Bench at Willow Lake

And this bench at Willow Lake looks like the perfect place to sit alone and meditate.

(PS I’m stuffed!)

  1. I might be afraid of getting a splinter in my butt sitting on the first one!

  2. Oh, I love the Skull Valley General Store. I haven’t been there in about two years. I need to get up that way. (I hear ya on the stuffed part.)

  5. I love both of the benches– so beautiful and so different! However, I don’t know what it says about me that the first thing I thought was what they have in common: I wouldn’t want to be wearing shorts when I sat on either of them!

Great contrast. I would be willing to spend a little time on each one of these. I could have eaten my Heath Bar on the first one…darn! Missed opportunity. Means we’ll have to head this way again. I know you’re excited about that drive up Yarnell Hill.
