Fall Colors #1

There is still a bit of color left here in the Midwest. Most of the Oak trees have dropped their leaves, but the Maples are still very bright. The farther South you go the more color there is to see. I have a feeling that the next rainfall will take the rest with it. This is along the Ohio River.

  1. What a gorgeous landscape. Our trees are just beginning to turn here. Nothing quite so dramatic as this though.

Oh, I’m so jealous!! But in a nice, loving way. 🙂
What gorgeous colors. I used to live along the Ohio river in a little town in Ohio named Middleport. We lived back in a holler and were surrounded by trees.

Wow – beautiful shot! Even at their peak our fall colors pale in comparison.

I didn’t get the recipe to the punch, but I think it was your basic juice and soda kind.

  8. You really captured it! Gorgeous!
I think we missed the peak colors in central Indiana when we were back out in AZ a few weeks ago. Most of the leaves were down by the time we returned. And the rest are coming down with the rain today.
