I guess the end of our trip to Sedona is as good as any place to start. We woke up Saturday morning to a rare Spring snowfall. An April winter storm had dumped about 2 inches of snow on us and continued to fall throughout the day Saturday – sometimes tapering off and then picking up again. It was a rare and wonderful treat and even my girlfriends from back East who had sought sunshine and warm temperatures were delighted at the beauty of the snow upon the red rocks.
Above was the view off of our balcony and below you see “Snoopy” rock (so named because it resembles the famous beagle reclining upon his doghouse) draped in a blanket of snow.
Alas, all good things must come to an end. Sunday gave way to sunny skies and warmer temperatures. We stopped at the Ranger Station on the way out to take a few more photos.
