Duck and Run

I understand there is a duck that may be looking for a new voice.

(The funny thing about this duck, as though there is only one funny thing about a duck, is that he – or she – held this position for a good five minutes as we walked past. I swear it did not move as if maybe it would be invisible to us as long as it stayed still.)

  3. Leave it to Nancy! I didn’t notice that it’s a goose. I just thought it’s probably a new yoga position that’s all the rage. Nancy is just getting back at you for those limericks you left on her blog!

  5. I thinnk this ‘duck’ is a farm goose—-so maybe it was just amazed by you and frozen to the spot. MB

  6. Nice pose, looks like he’s ice skating.

Funny how Aflac’s mascot looks like a goose but they call it a duck.

  7. HAHA. My dog does that. I call it her “invisible ears.” She lays her ears really flat against her head and doesn’t breathe or look at me, like I won’t notice her. Maybe this bird thought you were a talent agent and was giving you her best pose?
